Heerenveen beat RKC Waalwijk 1-0 in the Eredivisie

Heerenveen picked up a vital win in their bid to avoid relegation from the Eredivisie after they beat RKC Waalwijk 1-0 at the Mandemakers Stadion.
The visitors looked to be up against it after Ramon Zomer was sent off four minutes into the second half, but with seven minutes left RKC also went down to 10 men after goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet saw red.
And Marco van Basten's side scored a winner five minutes from time courtesy of a Filip Djuricic penalty to move three points clear of the drop zone.Daily Fotball News
